August 14, 2006 - Aguila American Resources Ltd. (TSX.V:AGL) is pleased to report on a visit to the Angostura Property by Victor Jaramillo, P. Geo. on August 3, 2006. A new road has been built across mineralized Structure No. 1. This road exposes very well the mineralization east of the Angostura Creek. Chip and grab samples were taken across this structure.
The Angostura Property covers approximately 4,100 hectares and consists of two exploration concessions and 5 claims, which cover the main portion of the Angostura Gold Prospect. The project area is located in southern Peru in the Department of Apurimac, approximately 430 kilometers southeast of Lima and 80 kilometers southwest of the city of Cuzco, and can be reached along paved highways and gravel roads. The area is mountainous and elevations on the property vary between approximately 3,300 meters and 4,400 meters.
Gold mineralization on the Angostura Property is hosted within an elongated ENE trending silica-rich, iron-manganese structure in limestone. This zone appears to be structurally related to the E-W trending, south dipping regional Vilcabamba Fault. The oxide mineralization is characterized by massive and partial replacement of a collapsed limestone breccia structure.
Trenching and outcrop mapping, done by V. Jaramillo in 2003, defined a width of 75 meters for Zone 2 with an approximate average grade of 3.64 g/t gold (based on samples taken from trenches T-12, 13,14,15,16 and 17). Mineralization has also been observed to continue approximately 2.1 km west of Zone 1 and approximately 2.7 km east of Zone 1 respectively. Sections along this mineralized structure are offset by NW trending faults, with displacements that average approximately 50 meters.

Selected gold sample result highlights from the 2003 program (with true widths) include:
Significant mineralization West of the Angostura Creek: Trench T-1W: 1.21 g/t gold across 6.0 meters Trench T-3W: 3.19 g/t gold across 3.50 meters Trench T-6AW: 2.60 g/t gold across 3.30 meters Trench T-11W: 2.37 g/t gold across 8.00 meters Trench T-12W: 3.48 g/t gold across 8.00 meters Trench T-13W: 1.86 g/t gold across 5.00 meters
Significant mineralization East of the Angostura Creek:
Trench T-BE: 2.69 g/t gold across 2.40 meters Trench T-4E: 2.77 g/t gold across 8.40 meters Trench T-13E: 1.63 g/t gold across 5.00 meters Trench T-15E: 5.45 g/t gold across 3.00 meters (Zone 2) Trench T-16E: 5.24 g/t gold across 17.50 meters (Zone 2) Trench T-17E: 8.19 g/t gold across 3.00 meters (Zone 2)
Investors are cautioned that discussion of potential quantities and grades is conceptual in nature. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in the targets being delineated as a mineral resource. Investors are cautioned not to assume that any potential mineralization is economically mineable.
Upon viewing the new road, Mr. Jaramillo noted that it should be surveyed as soon as possible, after which detailed geological mapping and sampling is recommended. The new road will help prepare new drill sites that can be drilled directly across the mineralization of Structure 1.
Recommendations from Mr. Jaramillo following his site visit also include construction of access roads for Structure 2. Once this has been implemented a new drill program can be prepared.
