May 16, 2006 - Aguila American Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: AGL) is pleased to announce, following a very trying and difficult negotiation with the community of Mollepina and Curpahasi, the long awaited ANGOSTURA PROJECT is back on track. Community agreements have been signed and a drill program can begin shortly.
The initial drill program was designed by Qualified Person, Mr. Victor Jaramillo, P. Geo. The seven drill hole, 1400 meter drill program has been revised over the weekend and still appears to be the right decision. The Company is currently attempting to mobilize the necessary people, equipment and supplies. As this is less than 20 drill holes, an environmental impact study is not required. The first month will be creating access, drill pads and mobilizing drill equipment.
